Finally home

Long time no post, but I'm home from Olds, Alberta and Fibre Week with absolutely no knitting progress to show. I brought both Flirty Ruffles (on row 7 of the ruffle - argh) and my Trekking Socks but a quick sock photo was about all that happened.

Lots of spinning and some spinning related shopping did occur. Photos of the new spindles coming soon, as well as our very interesting tour of Custom Woolen Mills.

Hey, no knitting progress is always okay when it is because of other fibre related things. Especially trips with said fibre specifically in mind. Sounds like you had a good time!

Hi from another Canadian blogger! I see you knit the Wool Peddler's Shawl! I am just starting the 'lace' part of the shawl and is it me or are the directions confusing? I wonder if you could let me know if you found it difficult to get the lace part started. my blog is www.peg-woolinmysoup.blogspot.com I am going to try to muddle through, but might start socks or a Clapotis in the meanwhile!

Welcome home. (Even the thought of row 7 of the flirty ruffles ruffle gives me the heebie jeebies.)
