Im-ply-ing!

I'm really happy that my plying has been improving over the past year. I love my earlier handspun yarns, but they are better suited to lace knitting than garments. Drapey, on the verge of too-loosely plied yarns. More twist in the single was the solution and my finished yarns have improved bounce and loft. Now can I spin for both lace and garments! I think even more twist and I will have mastered sock yarns.

Your spinning looks awesome! Plying sure can be tricky.

I hope to have your first package out to you by Saturday. I will let you know for sure when I mail it. Sorry it is so late!

My big breakthrough was spinning yarns with cush. Isn't it nice to get yarn you really want to knit with?

Yarn porn!
That looks very soft. I wish my monitor had Touch-o-Vision(tm) -- those around my are wondering why I'm pressing my cheek up against the monitor.
The colours remind me of your raspberry brownies -- (with teal smarties?) :S

That yarn looks amazing! My boss spins at work sometimes too. It's always fun to watch. Just want to let you know that you've been tagged! ^_^
